Next monday my JRSC is going on along with map controller, V-afc, RC 440's, STR cam gears, Fluidyene,JR thermostat,ACT extreme pressure plate n clutch, 8 lb. pulley set-up,walbro 255, and a BTM. Its going on a OBD1 B18c1 w/ AEM short ram, DC header, carsound 2 1/2 cat and custom piped exhaust. Most of my concerns are in the map controller/ V-afc installation w/ the 440's. I know at about -46 on the V-afc it will take dsm450's to about the equivilent of stock for my honda. So I think I will have enough room to tune the 440's in. I've read that the map controller needs the wire before the V-afc? I've also read that the map controller will make it run a little rich? Last but not least I searched a topic where (JRcivic) had mentioned moving or disconnecting the IAT wire on the map controller for the use of larger injectors to eliminate the unconsistant running?

    Wink

If you are going to use the MAP mod and VAFC, do NOT connect the IAT wires of the MAP mod. These two wires should only be connected if you use 270's or smaller sized injectors. They just make the car run "richer" by sending an unusually cold IAT reading to the ECU.

Question: Why didn't you get a Hondata s200B instead of the VAFC and JR MAP mod ??? It would cost about the same (maybe a few dollars more actually), but you would have far better adjustability... and you could GROW with the system.
